Key Highlights
- Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, innovative producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies.
- Conceptualize and oversee the implementation of the program architecture for build.
- Develop manufacturing plans or concepts for high level program requirements.
- Architect and drive investments in tooling, workstations, automation, and capital equipment; lead business cases and justification for manufacturing improvements.
- Establish and maintain standardized processes, best practices and controls across production lines; champion scalable, repeatable solutions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- (Level 3) 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Progressive manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace/defense or other complex, high-reliability manufacturing environments.
- Experience with complex Aerospace Sub-Systems
- (Level 4) 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and model-based enterprise practices (MBD/MBE).
- Experience with Final Assembly and Ramp operations.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and reviewing/approving engineering work products.
