Key Highlights
- Support failure investigations and root cause analyses for flight hardware, test equipment, electronic components, and subsystem interfaces
- Participate in system requirements analysis, verification, and validation for electrical and test system functions
- Translate functional requirements into specifications (hardware or software) and designs, specify and evaluate systems and architectures to comply with company, customer and regulatory requirements
- Perform test data analysis to validate system against design requirements and objectives
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical and electronic issues in automated test equipment, flight control hardware, and associated support systems
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in accredited Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Mid- Career, level 3: Typically, 5 or more years related work experience
- Senior Level 4: Typically, 9 or more years’ related work experience
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and electronic hardware using schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface documents
- Experience with automated test equipment, flight control systems, or avionics hardware
- Experience with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, signal generators, and data acquisition systems
- Experience performing root cause analysis and failure analysis of hardware and electronic systems
- Experience developing or modifying test procedures, scripts, or automated test solutions
- Experience with requirements development, verification, and validation for electrical systems
- Experience supporting integration, checkout, and sustainment of test hardware and support equipment
