Key Highlights
- Performs basic structural analysis for composite and metallic material systems using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
- Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
- Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
- Works under general supervision.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- 2 years of experience working in relevant fields of the engineering industry
- 1 year of experience performing engineering analysis
- Prior experience working on projects with supply chain engagement
- (Mid-Level- Level 3)5 years of experience performing structural analysis in the relevant fields of the engineering industry
- 1 year performing structural analysis on Interiors or secondary structures
- 1 year of experience working on projects with supply chain engagement
- Prior experience performing engineering oversight of supporting production issues related to Interiors or secondary structures
- Prior experience supporting test programs for Interiors structures
- Prior experience with regulatory requirements related to aircraft interiors
