Key Highlights
- Coordinate, test, and verify Electrical Power requirements with teammates, customers, and system architects through the development and sustainment of various Boeing systems
- Review supplier and partner qualification data to ensure compliance to Boeing and FAA electrical power requirements
- Perform Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA) on a multitude of platforms in accordance with MIL-E-7016 and MIL-STD-704
- Lead and coordinate work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
- Solve problems concerning and provide other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 2+ years’ related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience using power measurement test and measurement instrumentation (such as power supplies, power meters, and analyzers)
- Familiar with Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA) concepts and MIL-E-7016
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time, as required.
- (Level 3) 5+ years’ related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- (Level 4) 9+ years’ related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in the defense or aerospace industry
- Previous experience writing/verifying Electrical Power requirements
- An ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a Master’s/PhD in electrical engineering
- Active U.S. Security Clearance
- Experience in the design, analysis, integration and verification of Electrical Power generation, distribution and/or regulation systems
- Knowledge and experience establishing, designing, and verifying Power Quality requirements and testing in accordance with MIL-STD-704
- Experience with power simulation tools
- Experience with software scripting / programming languages for office products, test equipment program and / or modeling tools
- Previous experience in Electrical Power Design and Analysis.
