Key Highlights
- Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
- Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products.
- Leads junior engineers in software development
- Develops interface definitions
- Performs unit and integration testing
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Active U.S. Secret Security clearance
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience with C++
- 1+ years of MATLAB
- 1+ years of Experience with Agile Software development lifecycle
- Level 3: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+
- years of related, relevant experience
- Level 4: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 9+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 13+ years of directly related work experience OR 17+ years of related, relevant experience
- Active Top Secret
- Familiarity with Physics-Based Modeling software packages.
- Physics knowledge in one or more of the following: flight dynamics, sensors, electromagnetics, weapon models, terrain models, or flight control; but not required.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps: version control, continuous integration, containers, code analysis tools (Git, GitLab, or CMake)
- Experience working with Linux and Windows
- Real time software development experience, but not required
- Experience working with MATLAB Coder, but not required
- Experience with Java in a work environment or school
