Key Highlights
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
- More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
- More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
- More than 5 years of experience in constructing/building and providing reports and presentation material as needed for assigned projects or Leadership review

- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- More than 5 years leading cross-functional and/or project teams
- More than 5 years of experience managing supplier performance
- More than 3 years of experience with proposal support and development
- More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- More than 5 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
