- Own the team’s technical vision end to end, not just execute someone else’s roadmap. You partner effectively with the product team to create an ambitious roadmap
- Define what “great” looks like, and refuse to settle for less. Your definition comes from past experiences of seeing great teams succeed
- Sit at the table with the CTO to shape strategy, product bets, and the roadmap for a business area we’re still inventing
- Sit on the engineering leadership team, your job doesn’t stop at your team’s edge
- Lead the charge on AI adoption: find where it changes how we build, ship, and operate, and make it real, not theoretical
