About the RoleWe are seeking an Engineering Manager (EM) to build and develop high-performing engineering teams through strong leadership, coaching, and organizational effectiveness. The Engineering M
Key Highlights
- People management: hire, onboard, and coach engineers; run 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
- Team effectiveness and culture: build healthy ways of working, identify and remove organizational blockers, and create an engaged, high-performing engineering environment.
- Capacity and organizational planning: maintain a clear view of skills, capacity, and capabilities across engineering; anticipate gaps; and drive hiring and staffing decisions in line with company priorities.
- Engineering partnership: work closely with Staff Engineers and Product Owners to understand technical and product challenges, align priorities with available capacity, and build a shared understanding of commitments, risks, trade-offs, and organizational needs.
- Experience managing engineers, including hiring, coaching, career development, and performance management, in a software organization.
