Job Description
Join our dynamic Information Technology team in Fort Worth, TX as a Software Engineer specializing in System Build Infrastructure. You will play a crucial part in automating software build processes and supporting development teams across multiple high-impact programs. This hands-on role offers exposure to the latest in CI/CD automation, collaborative agile workflows, and the opportunity to drive technical improvements with a team of passionate engineers.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional programming experience in Python.
- 3+ years working with the Linux/Unix command line.
- At least 5 years utilizing software configuration management tools such as Git, Artifactory, Nexus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient with GitLab CI/CD; capable of running pipelines and resolving basic failures.
- Experience with Docker containers and foundational knowledge of Kubernetes deployment.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming; able to develop reusable, class-based code.
- Familiarity with the code compilation process and development of modular, scalable solutions.
- Experience converting legacy scripts (e.g., Perl) to Python.
