Job Description

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Omaha, NE. As a full-time Associate Software Engineer you will work on all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and automated testing within an Agile and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery model. In this role, you will join a dynamic team that is singularly focused on providing world class solutions to our customers in an exciting, collaborative, and inclusive environment. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Java/C++
  • Experience with Linux operating system

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience OR 10+ years of related, relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Java/C++/Rust
  • Experience with code repositories like Gitlab and collaborative products like Jira
  • Experience with at least one Relational Database Management System (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Experience in Java, using Spring-Boot and Gradle
  • Experience using WebLogic
  • Experience with RKE2 or another container orchestration platform
  • Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies
  • Solid understanding of software development process fundamentals
  • Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques
  • Ability to complete tasking independently with minimal direct supervision
