- Project Leadership: Leading end-to-end execution of internal and external projects that require attention to detail and consideration of both national and state requirements.
- Ruthless Prioritization: You can identify the most important item to focus resources on. You constantly ensure the most important task at hand is on track and that your priorities are aligned with the company’s needs.
- Consensus Building: You can play up to the leadership level, identifying different stakeholders, their incentives, and how to ensure Metriport can accomplish its goals within existing constraints.
- Forward Thinking: You think and see five steps ahead, identifying future blockers and ensuring they don’t exist when they would become problematic.
- Problem Solving: Ability to work through hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks and lay out arguments in well-structured, data-informed narratives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Project Ownership: 3+ years of project management, business operations, or MBB consulting experience.
- Healthcare Domain: 3+ years of experience within healthcare interoperability.
- Organization: You turn chaos into concise clarity through incredible organization that keeps you, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders on schedule. Missed deadlines keep you up at night.
- Regulatory & Governance Fluency: Familiar with working in regulated industries and on projects that have significant governance requirements.
- Autonomy: Comfortable taking an ambiguous objective, breaking it down to ensure alignment, identifying the most efficient way to accomplish it, and executing.
- Peripheral Skills: You know enough about topics such as finance, data, compliance, and engineering to ask thoughtful questions and loop in the appropriate stakeholders when relevant.
- Location: Based in San Francisco (or willing to relocate) to work from our South Beach office.
- The "Metriport" Mindset: Low ego, high ownership. You are someone who asks "Why can't this be done in 3 days?" instead of 3 weeks.
