Job Description
Do you want to shape how complex business decisions are translated into sound accounting? As Senior Technical Accounting Specialist, you'll be Mind Energy's centre of excellence for IFRS and technical
Key Highlights
- Provide technical accounting expertise on IFRS and complex accounting matters, while developing Group accounting policies, technical guidance and position papers that ensure consistent IFRS application across the Group.
- Assess the accounting implications of new products, contracts, energy trading activities and strategic initiatives, translating technical requirements into practical accounting solutions.
- Partner with Financial Controlling, Accounting, Risk, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Trading and external auditors to ensure well-founded accounting decisions across the Group.
- Strengthen accounting governance, financial transparency and Group financial reporting by advancing reporting frameworks, internal controls and financial reporting quality.
- 7+ years of experience in technical accounting, audit or Group Financial Reporting.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in technical accounting, audit or Group Financial Reporting.
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, technical accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience from a Big 4 firm or a similar technical accounting environment.
- The ability to communicate complex accounting matters clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to technical problem-solving.
- Professional curiosity and the confidence to explore accounting questions where there is no obvious answer.
- Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
