Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Experience designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar)
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience designing and operating systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and security
- A track record of proactively identifying technical challenges and driving improvements through to completion
- Experience developing backend web applications
- Ability to use AI tools effectively for software development, independently solving problems and learning new technologies
- Business-level Japanese communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally, write clearly, and express ideas logically in a business environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing backend applications in Go or Python
- Experience building operational and monitoring systems for enterprise SaaS products
- Experience designing systems with stringent security requirements
- Experience taking ownership of a team’s delivery outcomes, regardless of official title
